The Norwegian Orienteering Federation award three silver trophies each year. In winning Friday’s W16 race Raumar-runner Oda Wennemo secured one of these.

-I made some mistakes at the first and third controls. Then I made my mind up to sharpen my wits, says the Raumar runner. Saturday’s race didn’t go so well, but she hopes she is on track for the season’s most important competition. That’s the National Youth Competition that is to be held in Sandefjord at the start of August.

- The two previous years I have been number four and number six, so the aim is to be among the top five, says Oda.
