A rush of entries - remember the deadline is on Sunday!
The stream of entries to this year's O-Festival is turning into a flood as the registration deadline approaches: Sunday 7th June. On Thursday 4th June, we passed the 1000 mark!
Previous experience suggests that between 1000 and 1500 participants will register in the last two days before the deadline. When an event takes place near Oslo there are usually also many late entries. So it looks like we once again will have more than 3000 people taking part in Saturday's competition. Perhaps we may even approach 3500?
We recommend that everybody comes early on Friday - both so that you can watch the elite runners in the World Cup on the big screen from 1.30 pm - but also so that you can avoid the Oslo rush traffic on a Friday at the start of the summer holiday.
The status for registrations for Saturday's competition currently shows (as of Thursday evening, 4th June):
Total ca. 1050 registered
170 participants in the World Cup
130 participants in the Elite classes with chasing start
750 participants in all other classes
25 nations are represented so far.
